Your Midwife in Braunschweig

The path to parenthood is an exciting chapter in a person's life. Together with you as experts for yourselves and your child, I would like to support you in the best possible way on your individual journey. My work is based on your own resources and needs. My job is to provide you with sufficient information according to current scientific standards so that you can make the right decisions for you regarding pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period.

I will accompany you through pregnancy, the postpartum period and, if necessary, until your child starts eating baby foods. I look forward to working with different people and getting to know your colourful family constellations!

About me

My name is Stefanie (pronoun: she/her), born in 1987, I am the parent of Marlin and partner of Martin. My path to becoming a midwife was not a direct one: after graduating from high school, I first studied political science and theatre studies and, after various employments, finally ended up at the FH Campus Wien in 2018 on the "Midwifery" course. I completed this degree programme in 2021 with a Bachelor's degree and then moved to Braunschweig. I started working as a midwife at Wolfenbüttel Hospital in October 2021 and moved to the obstetrics department at Marienstift in Braunschweig in January 2023. Since December 2022, I have been looking after families during pregnancy and the postnatal period and offering courses.
